Before you can discover our spirits on the following pages, we would like to briefly introduce ourselves: 

We first met 20 years ago and would never have imagined that we would one day be creating gin and other spirits.

Rather, it was our passion for films and storytelling that brought us together. Many joint projects, screenplays, feature films, music videos and commercials have developed into a wonderful friendship that has lasted through many stays abroad and accompanied us through the stormy seas of life...

The idea of founding a small label for lifestyle & fashion,  uNKNOWN Lands | The Spirit of Adventure was, like so many things in life, unforeseeable...

We have always had a special fondness for gin & tonic, especially for the feelings and memories that this drink awakens in us: of past trips to foreign countries and wonderful experiences. As we tried more and more unusual gins over the years, we were literally enchanted by the many possibilities of flavor nuances.

Together with our Master Distiller Thomas Häberer, the UNKNOWN Lands taste journey began in spring 2018: we spent more than a year experimenting with the composition of our gin. What fascinated us most were the possibilities of creating associations with places and situations through the different smells and tastes. Almost like writing a screenplay, you could embark on a journey to unknown countries...

The aim was to create a gin that serves as an inspiration to leave your comfort zone and embark on an adventure...

In September 2019, the time had come: the first batch of the uNKNOWN Land | GIN was delivered.

We now have several gins, liqueurs, vodkas and rums in our portfolio that we would like to introduce to you.
